Wout Beliën was born on the 11th of November, 1994 in Sint-Niklaas and graduated as a veterinarian at Ghent University in 2019. During his education it became clear to him that equine orthopaedics and medical imaging are his main fields of interest.
After graduation Wout got to work at the mobile practice of Marc Suls where he is, until this day, responsible for the sports management of the equine athlete.
Besides the ambulatory work, Wout is working at Via Nova as well, where he supports the permanent team of orthopaedics led by Cedric Bocque.
