Sarah Jooken was born in Hasselt on 3 December 1986. Horses have always been part of her life and she has always had her own horses. In 2008 Sarah graduated as a veterinary technician from Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen in Geel. Her first job was at KI Hof ter Leeuwe, where she mainly helped with embryo transfers and inseminations. She then worked as a groom at Jos Lansink Stables. Sarah took the next step in her career at Equitom, where she worked as a veterinary technician in the medical imaging department.
She now works at VIA NOVA and makes MRI and CT scans for the imaging department.
