Pia was born on 6 August 1984 in Oberhausen, Germany. As her parents always kept horses, she grew up with ponies and horses and went to her first show at the age of three.
Springen heeft haar altijd gefascineerd en op dertienjarige leeftijd maakte Pia deel uit van het Duitse “Bundeskader”.
Nadat ze was afgestudeerd op school is ze voor een opleiding als dierenartsassistente gegaan. Vervolgens maakte ze deel uit van het team van ?Pferdepraxis im Sudenhof?, waar ze een geweldige tijd heeft gehad en veel ervaring heeft opgedaan bij Marc Suls en Eberhard Mettenleiter.
After spending a number of years at the clinic in Hagen am Teutoburger Wald, Pia returned to the world of show jumping.
Here the knowledge she obtained as a veterinary assistant is of immense value to her in training her horses and making sure they are as healthy and fit as possible for the start of the 1.60 m classes.
Pia is delighted to be part of the VIA NOVA team.
