Marc Suls was born on 11 October 1961 in Ekeren and graduated in 1985 as a veterinarian from Ghent University. He worked for 6 months at The Animal Health Trust in New Market (England), specialising in Orthopaedics. He then worked together with Leo de Backer (his mentor) for 10 years. Over the past 30 years Marc has had a mobile practice, with clients across the whole of Europe. During this period he has supported a number of national teams at several championships and Olympic Games. In 2018 he came up with the idea of his own equine clinic, a centre where he can share his knowledge and experience. VIA NOVA opened its doors in April 2019. For the moment Marc will continue to work at the mobile practice for the vast majority of his time. Contemporary Art is Marc’s great passion. In his spare time he likes to read about it and to visit exhibitions and auctions.
