Elske was born on 18 September 1978 in Heerenveen, the Netherlands. Her passion for horses came from her grandparents who had horses and ponies on their farm and competed them at shows. She has always had her own horses, which she competed in dressage and jumping.
Elske studied hotel management in the Netherlands and has almost 20 years of experience in the hotel business. After saying goodbye to the hotel business, she started working as an office manager in the interim sector. She usually spends her free time together with her daughter at the daughter's own pony. She is happy to be part of the Via Nova team.
